Overnight Public Area Attendant

An exciting opportunity awaits! We are seeking committed and reliable Overnight Public Attendants (full-time and part-time) to join the team at the newly opened Crowne Plaza Geelong. 

Located in the landmark Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre precinct, Crowne Plaza Geelong features 200 premium guest rooms, an all-day dining Italian restaurant, a signature Skybar with panoramic Corio Bay views, leisure facilities including a pool and gym, and state-of-the-art conference and meeting spaces. 

This role offers the opportunity to join a newly opened hotel, work with brand-new facilities, and play an important part in shaping service standards and guest experiences from day one. 

A Taste of Your Day-to-Day 


* Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairways, restrooms, and other communal spaces. 



* Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment and reporting maintenance issues 



* Assist guests with directions or inquiries related to the hotel's facilities and services. 



* Work collaboratively with the Front Office and Maintenance Team to support a seamless guest experience. 



* Assist with lost property and periodic deep cleaning projects 



* Uphold Crowne Plaza’s “Dare to Connect” service philosophy at every interaction. 

 

What We Need from You 


* Proven experience in similar Public Area roles within hotels and resorts.

Experience as commercial cleaner will also be considered 



* For Part-time: Availability and commitment to work between 2 and 4 overnight night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. 



* For Full-time: Full Availability and commitment to work varied overnight night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. 



* Physically fit and comfortable with bending, lifting, and being on your feet throughout the shift 



* Strong communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner when interacting with guests regarding concerns or feedback. 



* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. 



* A passionate team player who works well independently and as part of a team. 



* Current valid Australian working rights.
