Summary

Under direction of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Clerk supports all activities of the Purchasing Department.

The Purchasing Clerk will have an active role in ordering and delivering products and assisting with inventory counts.

Promotes and follows LJBTC, Inc.’s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Handle receiving and delivery of goods, ensuring goods received are in compliance with purchase orders in terms of items, quality, quantity, price and specifications.


* Operate a company vehicle to deliver goods as required.


* Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License.


* Maintain records of all partial deliveries and backorders. Ensure that proper notations are made concerning short shipped items.


* Assist in handling the company’s shipping requests.


* Ensure storeroom areas are kept clean, well-organized, secure to prevent pilferage, and safe to minimize damage and spoilage.
