Senior Tax Specialist
The Mission:
As our Senior Tax Specialist, you will provide comprehensive tax advisory as well as carry out operational tax duties for Schneider Electric's Hungarian entities.

You will manage tax processes across multiple business units and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

What will you do in more detail?


* Provide tax advisory and compliance for SE's two Hungarian entities (including business hubs, factories and logistics center)


* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants, including internal and external audits


* Cooperation with the Regional Tax Manager aligning IFRS and local requirements


* Provide tax investigation support and manage NAV online processes


* Prepare non-payroll tax returns (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Local Business Tax)


* Calculate taxes and preparation for accounting


* Foreign VAT claims management


* Support Transfer Pricing documentation, TP matrix


* Handle tax account reconciliation and open item management


* Assist with Intrastat reporting


* Manage subsidy processes for Hungarian legal entities

What makes you right for the job?


* Relevant University/College degree plus tax consultant or tax expert qualification preferred


* 5+ years of tax advisory/tax accounting experience within sizeable, international organization(s)


* Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate income tax


* Experience with accounting systems (SAP ERP is a strong advantage)


* Background in Big4 or multinational tax advisory is a plus, as is experience with SSC
