Manufacturing Engineering Intern- MPC

Specific Projects:

Support launch of new manufacturing processes and tooling.

 

Other Potential Activities (Bandwidth Permitting)


* Process Documentation: Work Instructions, preventative maintenance records, etc.


* Tooling assembly / rebuilds


* Routing updates


* Time studies for costed routings and project cost justifications


* Migration of paper documentation to electronic platform (Work instructions, PFMEA)


* Other manufacturing engineering support tasks as directed

 

Qualifications:


* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point


* Familiarity with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) - Entry level (2D prints and 3D modeling- GD & T knowledge a +)


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Strong mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical aptitude


* Familiarity with hand and shop tools and their use


* Previous molding experience preferred, not required


* Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college / technical program


* Majors: Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent


* GPA of 3.0 or higher

 

Pay Range: $19-$20

At PTI, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
