* High School diploma or equivalent.
* At least 2 years' experience working in Calibration.
* Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills
* Competency with calibration software
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and gage manufacturer manuals.
* Ability to write routine inspection reports and correspondence.
* Ability to speak effectively with individuals or groups of employees.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphics.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
* Be familiar with the following standards: AS9100, ISO 17025, ISO 10012-1, and ANSI Z540-1.
* Must be able to read blueprints and validate part compliance to the drawing requirements.
* Must be able to use Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Blocks, micro balls, thread wires, weight class, super-micrometer, linear check, torque transducer, heigh gage.
* Must meet the vision requirements as it relates to Near Vision and Color Perception.
