Senior Lab Technician - Optical Solutions

Our Optical Solutions team in Allen, TX is looking for a Senior Lab Technician to support our optical transceiver business and our R&D teams .

The Senior Lab Technician will work within a multi-disciplinary R&D team.

What You Will Do


* Execute tests and perform data collection for optical transceivers


* Troubleshoot PCBAs for optical transceivers


* Properly handle fibers and work with optical test equipment


* Perform fiber splicing and repair


* Support engineering with setting up test stations and test setup based on concept/block diagram


* Remove and solder fine pitch components on small PCBAs


* Maintain daily activities for engineering lab


* Support EHS corporate policy


* Ensure high quality within the lab

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* At least 5 years hands-on experience in an electronic or testing lab


* Expertise in working with optical transceivers


* Experienced in laboratory equipment


* Experience with optical transceivers


* Understanding of electrical principles


* High attention to detail and quality standards
