Job Description:

Job Summary

As a Principal Product Manager within the Routing Infrastructure Solutions (RAS) team, you will lead the end-to-end strategy and operational roadmap for the ACX product portfolio.

You will act as a recognized internal authority, applying innovative principles to solve complex problems in the Service Provider, Enterprise, and Cloud network space.

This role requires a unique blend of deep technical hardware expertise, business acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional engineering and field teams.
Key Responsibilities


* Routing Portfolio Leadership: Define and drive product requirements for use cases across Access & Aggregation, Edge Services, Core, Peering, and DCE/DCI.


* Strategy & Innovation: Define requirements for next-generation routing platforms and optical transceivers.

Stay ahead of industry roadmaps to drive disruptive WAN solutions, including the deployment of AI training and inference networks.


* End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Build value propositions, target customer segments, and business cases.

Synthesize Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) based on intimate customer knowledge and industry acumen.


* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering on feasibility, planning, and delivery.

Enable field teams with roadmap updates and translate customer feedback into actionable product "Asks."


* Business Optimization: Manage the product configuration mix, margins, and Go-To-Market strategies to optimize revenue and market share throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise (Required)

Candidates must be well-versed in the following technologies:


* Protocols: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, LDP, PCEP, etc.


* Transport Technologies: MPLS, RSVP-TE, SR-MPLS, SRv6.


* L2/L3 Services: Ethernet, VXLAN, MAC, Bridge domain, L2VPN, and L3VPN.


* Management & Security: Netconf, gRPC, Open Config, Streaming Telemetry, SNMP, RPKI, IPSEC, and MACSEC.


* Architectures: Understanding of L2/L3 underlays and overlays.
