Job Description:

Job Family Definition:
Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software or solution specialists that are responsible for leading pursuit in their assigned focus areas.

Drives proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, uses specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities.

Management Level Definition:
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.

Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope.

May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitate information validation and team decision making process.

Job summary Lead pursuit activity, build pipeline, and close storage opportunities within an assigned territory or set of accounts.

Act as a trusted consultant to customers and partners, collaborate across internal teams to deliver end-to-end storage solutions, and apply subject matter expertise to solve complex business issues.

Responsibilities:


* Sell HPE storage products and solutions (block, file, backup, ransomware protection, lifecycle management).


* Develop pursuit plans, build and manage the storage sales pipeline, and drive campaigns to generate and expand opportunities.


* Lead proposals, negotiations, and deal closures to ensure profitable outcomes and revenue growth.


* Coordinate sales activities with account managers, presales, and channel partners; maintain pipeline hygiene and account plans using internal tools.


* Articulate technical solutions, ROI/TCO, and business benefits to customers and partners.


* Engage partners to co-sell and enable technologies, map partner skills to opportunities.


* Support storage marketing and demand-generation efforts aligned with account strategy.
