WHAT YOU'LL DO


* Overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper material condition


* Managing shipping documentation, including weights, charges, invoices, and order records


* Coordinating the movement of materials from receiving to storage and production areas


* Ensuring loading and unloading operations meet safety and shipping standards


* Determining load limits and selecting appropriate shipping methods to meet schedules


* Reporting damaged or incorrect items and working with vendors to resolve discrepancies


* Monitoring inventory levels, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring material availability


* Coordinating maintenance or repair of equipment and materials as needed


* Managing financial transactions related to shipping and warehouse operations


* Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and recommending process enhancements


* Hiring, training, and supervising warehouse and shipping staff


* Supporting standardization of warehouse processes for consistency and improved performance


* Walking, sitting, talking, and hearing regularly during daily activities


* Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally


* Maintaining required vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception


* Working in an environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise


* Performing other duties as assigned
