New Graduate Registered Nurse - MC/CHC - Pediatrics Acute Residency Program

The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - Medical Center, located in Moreno Valley, is currently recruiting for new graduate Registered Nurses, (RNs), for the Pediatrics Acute Unit.

The New Graduate Registered Nurse cohort will participate in an 8-week nurse residency program that includes hands-on clinical training with a dedicated preceptor, and structured theory education led by a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Upon graduation, the new graduate Registered Nurse will be able to function at a competent level within our Pediatrics Acute Unit.

Position Requirements for the Pediatrics Acute Unit Upon Hire:


* Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California, (it is not necessary to be licensed prior to interviewing for this position, however, you must have a valid license prior to official onboarding).


* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association


* Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association


* No more than 3 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Work Schedule: The schedule for this position is 3/12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m.

- 7:30 a.m., every other weekend
