Supply Chain Analyst

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities


* Prepare, process, and approve purchase orders for inventoried items, including orders with unlimited spending authority


* Identify and resolve material shortages


* Communicate and coordinate business unit requirements with internal and external customers and suppliers, including needs, deadlines, schedule impacts, and available alternatives


* Expedite, prioritize, and plan purchasing activities to support business unit needs


* Identify and resolve purchasing, pricing, and transactional errors


* Provide department-specific quoting support


* Manage invoices and resolve discrepancies related to pricing and receiving transactions


* Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements


* High School diploma or equivalent required


* Four-year college degree preferred

OR


* High School diploma or equivalent required


* Experience Requirements:
+ External candidates: Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience
+ Internal candidates: Minimum of 6 years of applicable experience, with at least 2 years in Altec Supply Chain functions preferred

Skills and Qualifications


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required


* Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts required


* Experience working with ERP systems preferred
