Salary: $100,000-$120,000 annually (DOE)

Ridgeway Post Acute is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Staff Development (DSD) to join our leadership team.

This is a key role for a strong, hands-on leader who believes in being present on the floor, mentoring staff, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead and oversee staff development, education, and competency programs


* Ensure compliance with state and federal training requirements


* Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing in-service education


* Actively round on the floor to support, coach, and mentor staff


* Collaborate with DON and leadership team to improve clinical outcomes


* Maintain accurate training and competency records


* Serve as a visible, supportive resource for all departments

Qualifications:


* Active LVN or RN license (state-specific requirements apply)


* Prior experience as a DSD or strong clinical leadership background in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting


* Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards


* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills


* Passion for teaching, mentoring, and staff engagement
