Small and Medium Building R&D team is India is responsible to designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software and solution around Micro-BMS to monitor and control energy, HVAC, and lighting solution in this segment.

We are expanding our team in Gurugram and looking for a Manger-cloud applications to lead our cloud applications team.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead our cloud applications team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and extensive experience in cloud technologies.

This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.

This position requires a blend of strategic architectural design ability with technical leadership to manage complex cloud applications specifically for large scale data (or order of billions of data points per day) and large-scale management (100s of thousands) of devices deployed in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:


* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.



* Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for growth and development.



* Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members.

Technical Leadership:


* Define and maintain high engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.



* Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.



* Participate in architectural design for convergence of different offers into a single unified offer for Small and Mid-Size Buildings



* Drive technical innovation and explore new technologies to improve team efficiency and product quality.

Project Management:


* Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.



* Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.



* Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

Communication and Collaboration:


* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, QA) to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.



* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.



* Represent the engineering team in various meetings and forums.

Continuous Improvement:


* Continuously evaluate and improve team processes and workflows.
