Associate Engineer to join our Electrical team in Boxborough, MA.

What are we looking for?
The Sr.
Associate Engineer is responsible to Independently perform electrical product testing and evaluation, writes reports, and communicates with our clients.
This position will travel at least 25% of the time.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $ 34- $43 per hour.
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
* Independently conduct on and off site evaluation of products to determine compliance with applicable standard(s).
* Mentor less senior technical personnel.
* Supply information for quotes such as length of project, site needed, rental equipment, samples, and standards that will be used.
* Complete preliminary design reviews (PDR) both on and off site.
* Provide more specialized "expertise" in one product category i.e.
become reviewer, resident expert, or advanced product knowledge.
* Develop and set up test plans.
* Perform field labeling jobs.
* Set up and operate standard test equipment including, but not limited to, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, multi-meter, dielectric strength tester, ground continuity tester, digital multi-meter, surge generator, over-voltage tester, environmental condition chamber, articulated probes.
Use hand tools to build/calibrate test fixtures.
