Job Description

Your Role: Dairy Sales Support- Academic Worker

As a Dairy Sales Support academic worker you will integrate into the Elanco Dairy sales team to support Uplook enrollment, Uplook data entry, and execution of customer events for the Upper Midwest dairy region. 

Your Responsibilities:


* Provide sales support to dairy customers, Elanco sales representatives, technical consultants, marketing and other stakeholders relative to the South Dakota/Iowa/Upper Midwest dairy region


* Work closely with Elanco sales representatives and Elanco Knowledge Solutions to facilitate enrollment into Uplook and follow up on data entry for new and existing customers


* Assist in the planning and execution of Elanco’s presence at industry conferences, tradeshows, customer meetings and related events


* Using our CRM platform, enter call notes, contacts, and make account changes while working collaboratively across the organization


* Complete assigned training to increase knowledge of Elanco’s portfolio, processes, and customer programs

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree related to Animal Science, Agriculture, or field related to the US dairy industry with a graduation date May 2026


* Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel experience


* Highly self-motivated and driven leadership

* Understanding of dairy production and dairy farm management software


* Ability to think strategically and make decisions within the context of uncertainty


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Strong organizational and time management skills


* Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision
