Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Gateway Post Acute - Porterville, CA
Starting Pay: $60/hour
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities Available

Located in Porterville, CA, our skilled nursing facility has been providing compassionate, high-quality care for over 40 years.

We're currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our therapy department.

What You'll Do:


* Evaluate and assess residents' physical conditions


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapeutic interventions, including joint mobilization, therapeutic exercises, and more


* Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed


* Educate residents and families on mobility techniques and injury prevention


* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes


* Conduct in-services and training sessions for facility staff


* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulations and company policy

What We're Looking For:


* Valid California Physical Therapist License in good standing


* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Proficient in documenting services; familiarity with PointClickCare and/or Casamba is a plus


* Skilled nursing facility experience preferred, but not required
