Chemist
* Able to work safely around chemicals and hotplates in a laboratory setting.
* Strong analytical chemistry skills including experience operating and troubleshooting instruments is preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
* Ability to pay attention to detail and be organized
* Bachelor's degree in a related Science field such as Chemistry is preferred.
* Safety Record, Attitude, Attendance and Work Performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
* Work safely with acids, chemicals, gases, and delicate equipment
* Produce accurate and precise analysis in a timely manner
* Perform Potassium Iodide Copper Titration Analysis
* Perform Lead Molybdate Gravimetric Molybdenum Analysis
* Complete daily analysis of metals using Atomic Absorption Spectrometers
* Weigh and digest Geological and Metallurgical samples
* Work early day shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM), weekend work in rotation, and occasional extended or additional days when necessary
* Perform other duties as assigned
