Do you love creating delicious, nutritious meals that bring comfort and joy to others? Western Slope Health Center is looking for a Full-Time Chef for our AM Shift to join our supportive and collaborative team! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while making a difference in the lives of our residents.

What You'll Do:


* Prepare a variety of meals in large quantities, following menus and portion guidelines.


* Create special diets and pureed foods with accuracy and care.


* Ensure meals are appealing, safe, and served on time.


* Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work area.


* Record and monitor food temperatures.


* Assist with meal service and clean-up, including carts and cooking areas.


* Supervise or assist dietary staff, supporting teamwork and training.


* Collaborate with staff across departments to support resident care.


* Experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred (knowledge of Textures)
