Janitor

Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort within the facility.

This role includes laundry services and general cleaning duties to support a safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Full time Hours- 10-30-7:00 PM flexible across weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities


* Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver resident laundry and facility linens


* Ensure a sufficient supply of clean linens is available


* Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service


* Label resident clothing as needed


* Follow proper sanitary and infection control procedures


* Safely operate laundry equipment and cleaning supplies


* Maintain inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies


* Report equipment issues to management


* Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or GED preferred


* Previous janitorial or laundry experience preferred


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions


* Basic math and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements


* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks

Work Environment


* Indoor facility setting


* Noise level is low to moderate

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
