Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1.

Manages SCT Drivers.

2.

Arranges backhauls for SCT and Purchasing.

3.

Reviews weekly routes for full usage.

4.

Maximizes tractor utilization, effectiveness and cost efficiency.

5.

Daily problem solving.

6.

Constant reviews of ongoing and incoming customer needs.

7.

Directly supervises 30-35 Drivers.

 

Job Specifications

1.

2-5 years office experience required

2.

Transportation, logistic, warehouse or driver experience a plus

3.

Ability to multi-task, handle constant interruptions, provide back up for dispatcher and routers a must

4.

Must be available to answer calls on evenings and weekends

5.

High school diploma required

 

Working Conditions

1.

Office environment.

2.

Ability to work independently.

3.

Position requires minimal travel.

 

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
