Job Description:

Leads the design, development, and delivery of advanced networking software on all Junos/EVO platforms and Cloud native platforms.

Oversees engineering teams responsible for building and delivering intelligence in the network and intelligence about the network, leveraging AI/ML for AI Ops to significantly improve customer experience.

Defines technical strategy, architecture, and execution plans to align with business objectives across routing and switching protocols.

Provides strategic direction and thought leadership for globally distributed engineering teams.

Applies deep subject matter expertise to solve complex technical and organizational challenges.

Influences company-wide technology decisions and drives engineering excellence.

Operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, setting priorities and managing resources to achieve long-term goals.

This role is part of the Routing, Switching Protocols and Intelligence team leadership, based in Sunnyvale, CA, with teams spread across the US and India.

The team is responsible for building and delivering protocol innovations and network intelligence, using AI/ML for AI Ops to transform customer experience.

Responsibilities:


* Lead the Routing, Switching Protocols and Intelligence team and drive innovative initiatives in protocols and intelligence.


* Champion AI adoption to increase team productivity and enhance customer experience through AI Ops.


* Foster strong relationships across customers in Cloud, Service Provider, Data Center, Campus, and Branch segments.


* Represent HPE Networking in strategic customer engagements and industry forums.


* Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams; energize, motivate, and inspire large distributed teams through excellent communication and leadership.


* Establish and enforce best practices for software development, testing, and deployment across multiple product lines.
