LPN- PRN/PART TIME

* Monitoring and reporting:

+ Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to RNs or doctors.

+ Observe and record patient reactions to medications and treatments.

+ Collect specimens, such as blood and urine, for lab testing.



* Communication and education:

+ Explain procedures and care plans to patients and their families.

+ Communicate with patients and their families to address concerns and provide support.

+ Ensure patients and families understand discharge instructions.



* Documentation:

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and records.

+ Document patient care, vital signs, and observations in a timely manner.



* Team collaboration:

+ Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.

+ Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff.



* Patient care:

+ Administer prescribed medications and injections.

+ Perform wound care, including changing dressings and applying compresses.

+ Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

+ Change and administer catheters.

+ Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
