Job Description

Manage compensation plans, policies and procedures, variable compensation plans, job evaluations for Mexico.

Responsible of all research, analysis and comparison of compensation and benefits and propose new solutions in order to improve competitiveness.

Establish a relationship with Compensation Department in US to guarantee market position, rentability and administration of compensation programs.

Responsible of performance evaluation process.

Responsibilities



* Research, analyze and compare market trends in similar companies.

Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness and equity of compensation plans to comply with legal and local labor regulations.

Guarantee competitiveness to attract and maintain AutoZone employees.


* Manage performance evaluation and merit increases.

Responsible for the definition of new salary structures for CAT, DCs, Shared Service (BTSSC) and Stores aligned with market behavior.

Design annual strategies for wage increases in Mexico seeking better competitiveness and support attraction and retention strategy.


* Manage the variable compensation program, which includes calculations, approvals, payment and reports.

Responsible for analyzing and proposing the improvement of the plan to guarantee competitiveness and be the link with US Compensation department to evaluate, design and implement changes and new plans.


* Responsible of job evaluation process, including job description process and salaries according to job responsibilities.

Be a partner / consultant to support US Compensation Department in evaluation and analysis of all jobs in Mexico.


* Lead project analysis and other related to Compensation


* Review requirements and requests with stakeholders, subject matter experts, support areas, end users, HR and IT leaders to implement new HR systems, enhancements, functionalities, system versions and projects.

Qualifications



* A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.


* Human Resource Management, Business related


* More than seven years


* Development and administration of compensation, variable compensation and benefits plans in an organization of 5,000+ employees.


* High-level english (written/spoken)


* Nice to have: KORN FERRY HAY GROUP Valuation Method, Towers Watson salary methods.


* Nice to have: Professional accreditation or certification in Compensation or Benefits.
