As the Sapphire Acquisitions Marketing Strategy Lead within the Sapphire team, you will Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of credit card marketing.
You'll spearhead the execution of creative campaigns, collaborate with external agencies, and partner with cross-functional teams to develop compelling business cases for growth.
This role is responsible for crafting channel-level roadmaps, establishing a robust learning agenda, and continuously optimizing acquisition channels.
Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities
* Oversee the planning, launch, and management of marketing campaigns to acquire new Sapphire card members, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
* Collaborate with external marketing agencies to guide the development of creative assets, providing clear feedback and ensuring materials resonate with target audiences.
* Partner with internal teams-including Analytics, Product, Finance, and Legal-to build business cases for growth initiatives and ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
* Design and maintain channel-level roadmaps, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion across acquisition channels.
* Establish and drive a learning agenda to test, measure, and refine marketing tactics, leveraging insights to enhance channel performance.
* Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliver impactful results.
* Present campaign strategies, business cases, and performance updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
* Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to create business case summaries for new customer acquisition tactics.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum 5 years of industry experience with a passion for marketing, brand management, and relationship management
* Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence within a highly matrixed organization
* Proactive, action-oriented, and results-driven; able to prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
* Excellent team player with a can-do attitude, able to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
* Effective communicator, able to distill insights from large data sets and make strategic recommendations
