Student Development Coordinator

Bergstrom Automotive Headquarters - Neenah

At Bergstrom Automotive, we’re proud to be Wisconsin’s largest dealership, setting the standard for exceptional guest experiences.

Our team is driven by innovation, integrity, and a dedication to fostering growth and success for our team members.

If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding service and growing your career, Bergstrom is the place for you!

Are you passionate about helping young talent find their career path? Bergstrom Automotive is looking for a dynamic Student Development Coordinator to lead our technician pipeline.

You won't just be "hiring"—you’ll be building the future of our service departments by creating meaningful partnerships with high schools and technical colleges.

You will be the face of our dealership group, guiding students from their first shop tour through our Youth Apprenticeship program and into a successful career as a Master Technician.

Key Responsibilities

* Pipeline Architect: Design and manage the full life cycle of our Student Development Program, ensuring a smooth transition from student to full-time technician.

* Lead Ambassador: Build and nurture deep relationships with local high schools and technical colleges.

You are the bridge between education and industry.

* Program Management: Oversee our Youth Apprentice (High School) and Technician Student (College) programs, acting as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and educators.

* Event Leader: Own our recruitment calendar—leading career fairs, shop open houses, and classroom presentations.

* Internal Partner: Work side-by-side with our Service Managers to ensure students are being mentored properly and that our shop teams are engaged in the development process.

* Data-Driven Growth: Track retention rates and program success metrics to constantly refine how we attract and keep top talent.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - 100% in office (with local travel)
Salary range of $45,000 - $70,000.

Qualification

* The Connector: You have 2–5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent development (Automotive experience is a major plus!).

* The Communicator: You can command a room during a presentation and have the empathy to mentor a student through their first week on the job.

* The Organizer: You’re comfortable managing multiple programs and schedules simultaneously without breaking a sweat.

* The Professional: You handle sensitive information with discretion and understand the importance of HR compliance.

* Education: A Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business is preferred, but we value proven experience and "hustle" just as much.

* Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
