Investment Banking [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Build and use complex financial models, complete analytical exercises, and work with large data sets.

Support senior bankers in developing structured solutions for complex transactions.

Develop corporate finance and structuring areas including capital structure, capital allocation, separations and spin-offs.

Draft presentation materials, management presentations, Board materials, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue.

Keep abreast of key market developments and establish knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics.

Create thematic client content on key issues and market development.

Using data analysis and statistical tools like Excel VBA to analyze global market trends and make informed investment decisions.

Use mathematical computing techniques like Monte Carlo simulations for stress testing future financial scenarios and multi- variable regressions for identifying optimal valuation drivers.

Use financial software tools and techniques to drive and automate efficient data processing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Computational Finance, or related quantitative field of study plus 4 years (48 months) of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: performance measurement of corporates and translating quantitative information into actionable insights that can be leveraged by both analytic and non-analytic staff; designing and developing interactive Excel reports with advanced functionalities including lookup, index match, data analysis add-ins, pivots, VBA and VBScript; performing statistical data analysis including multi-variate regressions; running probabilistic scenarios including Monte Carlo simulations; building presentations for corporates and investors in PowerPoint; extracting, aggregating, and analyzing data from data providers including all of Factset, Bloomberg, and CapIQ; performing financial modeling by creating and interpreting valuation models including comparable company valuations, merger models, cost of capital models and performing sensitive scenario analysis; credit rating analysis and analyzing data from credit agency reports including Moody's and S&P.

Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017.

This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to JPMC client sites.

Full-Time.

Salary: $175,000 - $175,000 per year.
