Job Developer - Milwaukee, WI

Maximus is excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Job Developer within our Wisconsin Works W-2 Project, located in Milwaukee, WI.

This role is essential to the success of advancing our mission of reducing dependency on public assistance by promoting work and self-sufficiency among low-income families in Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate will support program providers and participants through training, outreach, and ongoing communication.

You'll play a key role in labor market analysis, job matching, and resume and interview coaching to help individuals secure meaning employment.

Additional responsibilities include attending recruitment events, resolving escalated issues, and fostering strong relationships with community partners and employers.

The ideal candidate will reside in or very near Milwaukee, WI and be willing to work onsite!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular one-on-one or group training sessions for existing providers, necessitating travel.

- Attend and actively participate in recruitment events to attract new providers to the program.

- Handle escalated provider issues efficiently and effectively.

- Address urgent concerns related to high visibility providers, ensuring swift resolutions.

- Offer ongoing support to designated providers as assigned.

- Collaborate with client, fellow contractors, and stakeholders to communicate and implement - operational policy changes.

- Stay updated on project details and changes.

- Extensive travel is an inherent part of the role.

- Fulfill additional assignments as directed by management.
