We also offer early childhood learning options to meet the needs of community preschoolers and their families.

What You’ll Have



* Education: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA credential.


* Experience: Previous experience with preschool-aged children required; experience with developmental disabilities preferred.


* Licenses/Certifications:
+ Valid driver’s license (preferred) 
+ Acts 33/34 and FBI clearances
+ Ability to complete 24 hours of annual in-service training.

A Typical Day May Include



* Assisting the PKC Teacher in planning and implementing activities aligned with PA Early Learning Standards and individual education programs (IEPs).


* Preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom organization.


* Supporting children’s personal care needs and supervising during meals and activities.


* Communicating with parents and participating in family engagement activities.


* Collecting data to monitor student progress and reporting behavioral or health concerns.


* Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions.
