Senior Corporate Accountant

Guardian Glass is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!

As a key member of our finance organization, you will drive the integrity and accuracy of our corporate financial operations, provide strategic insight, and lead process improvements.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing accounting accuracy, while leading process improvements, within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What You Will Do


* Take ownership of key accounting activities-applying critical thinking to drive accuracy and efficiency in reconciliations, month-end close processes, and collaborative support that strengthens the overall performance of the accounting team


* Oversee and validate financial data imports in OneStream and other platforms, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance


* Act as a strategic partner for cross-functional teams by providing accounting support and knowledge sharing


* Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement of accounting processes that impact reporting and support business initiatives.


* Prepare and review audit documentation and serve as a contact for internal and external auditors

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment


* Demonstrated understanding in journal entry preparation, General Ledger processes, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations


* Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences

What Will Put You Ahead


* Bachelor's degree or CPA/CMA


* Extensive experience in one or more of the following: key Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), Power BI, or OneStream


* Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools in accounting operations


* Knowledge of global currency and accounting processes
