Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Applicants hired into this position can work hybrid from WI or IL.
When in the office you will work at various locations throughout Madison.

The Director for Magnet & Nursing Excellence will lead initiatives that ensure full compliance with Magnet standards, identify and close gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
This role partners closely with HR, nursing leadership, and shared governance councils to advance nursing practice.
We are seeking a Director Magnet & Nursing Excellence to:
* Oversee Magnet program compliance and readiness for redesignation.
* Direct Magnet-related activities including Magnet documentation and data reporting requirements.
* Partner with HR to support growth reviews and peer review.
* Support and coach new employees in Magnet principles and shared governance.
* Maintain a strong awareness of shared governance activities and accreditation standards.
* Promote Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and foster a culture of inquiry.
* Build strong relationships across nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
* Lead large-scale projects with significant scope and complexity.
