Stamping Tool and Die Maker (Part Time)

Your Job

Our Lincoln site is looking for a part time Stamping Tool and Die Maker.

This person will m aximize utilization of Stamping Department by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the stamping dies

What You Will Do


* Maintain and troubleshoot dies with minimal supervision or direction needed



* Troubleshoot die problems with minimal amount of production down time



* Prioritize work load to meet the needs of production



* Perform die changeovers as required



* Support and implement continuous tooling improvements on all dies for increased utilization and efficiency



* Support and implement continuous process improvements throughout the Stamping Department



* Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions



* Build/Modify spare parts as needed



* Participate in recommendations for die design improvements



* Participate in problem solving teams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* High school diploma or GED


* 5 years experience with high speed tooling


* Proficient at all aspects of precision machining and form grinding


* Proficiency in reading a strip and die as well as troubleshooting skills


* Ability to work on any of the stamping dies


* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees throughout the organization


* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

What Will Put You Ahead


* Technical Degree in Machine Tool or equivalent field
