The Automation Maintenance Technician will perform various tasks to support the equipment in the facility, ensuring it is operating in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

What will you do?


* Comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures


* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components of manufacturing and facilities equipment.


* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment as assigned.


* Document work performed in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)


* Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts for manufacturing and facilities equipment


* Assist with special projects as needed or assigned by Maintenance Supervisor


* Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development

What will make you a successful candidate?


* 2-year technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered (Mechatronics, Millwright, Instrumentation and Control, Automation, Electrical, or Electronics)


* 3 years of previous experience in a technical maintenance role in a manufacturing environment required.


* Previous experience working with PLC's and VFD's is preferred, with focus on Allen Bradley communication Protocols.


* Computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook.


* Electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
