As Benefits Director, you'll lead the strategy behind programs that keep our team healthy, supported, and engaged.
This role is more than managing benefits; it's about shaping experiences that attract and retain top talent while ensuring financial responsibility and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead Strategy & Design: Develop benefit programs that attract and retain key talent while aligning with AutoZone's mission.
* Drive Financial Stewardship: Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis to ensure fiscal responsibility.
* Champion Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes and maintain rigorous documentation and controls.
* Enhance AutoZoner Experience: Use data and analytics to measure engagement and outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Vendor & Partner Management: Govern relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure service excellence.
* Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and growth.
* Open Enrollment Leadership: Design and lead annual open enrollment campaigns, including communications, training, and system updates.
* Wellness Program Strategy: Build and optimize wellness initiatives and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to support holistic AutoZoner well-being.
* Leave Administration Oversight: Ensure compliant and seamless management of FMLA, ADA accommodations, COBRA, and disability programs.
* Retirement Plan Governance: Collaborate with fiduciary committees and oversee retirement plan compliance and vendor performance.
Qualifications
* MBA or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience
* Minimum of 12 years or related experience with 5-7 years of managing large-scale benefits programs
* Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
* Strong project management and process improvement skills
* Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills
