As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank Payments Technology Kinexys Cloud platform, you are an integral part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

You will promote significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to address a diverse array of challenges across multiple technologies and applications.

Job responsibilities


* Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.


* Designs, develops, and implements secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native solutions for the Kinexys blockchain SaaS platform across multiple regions.


* Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.


* Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.


* Builds and maintains foundational cloud capabilities using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Kyverno).


* Implements robust Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions to support secure, permissioned access for internal and external participants.


* Designs and manages complex cloud networking architectures to support high-volume, low-latency blockchain transactions.


* Develops CI/CD pipelines, automates deployment and monitoring, and ensures operational excellence for cloud and blockchain workloads.


* Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus, including cloud architecture, security, and resiliency.


* Collaborates with Cybersecurity, IAM, and Public Cloud teams to meet internal and external control, risk, and regulatory requirements (OCC, FRB, FDIC, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software development, with a focus on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools.
