Job Description:

Designs, architects, and advances complex software, automation, and test systems supporting Session Smart Router and SD-WAN products.

Leads development of next-generation validation frameworks, network topology modeling, cloud-based testing workflows, and continuous integration infrastructure.

Influences product architecture and system design with deep expertise in distributed networking, cloud platforms, and automation tooling.

Operates as a senior technical leader with broad and deep subject matter expertise.

Independently solves complex problems, defines technical direction, and recommends strategic alternatives.

Frequently leads multi-functional initiatives, mentors engineers across geographies, and ensures technical excellence across the team.

Drives execution and quality for major product and release milestones.

Responsibilities

Architecture, Automation & Test Leadership


* Designs and implements advanced automation frameworks using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and related technologies to streamline test creation, execution, and infrastructure provisioning.


* Models and validates complex network topologies using AWS, OpenStack, KVM, and physical/virtual labs to ensure high reliability, performance, and correctness across diverse deployment scenarios.


* Builds scalable systems for traffic generation, topology simulation, and automated verification of SSR network paths and routing logic.

Continuous Integration & Infrastructure


* Leads CI and lab automation initiatives, optimizing pipelines, reducing release cycle times, and enhancing reliability of nightly and performance test suites.


* Partners with Tools & Infrastructure teams to evolve OpenStack-based environments, Jenkins pipelines, and GitHub workflows supporting automated validation.

Technical Ownership of Test Strategy


* Defines end-to-end test strategies for major releases, including functional, regression, performance, WAN, and multi-cloud scenarios.
