RN-CTL/Charge Nurse - Adult Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day/evening shift.
Operational hours of the Cath Lab/EP lab are 6:00am to 7:00pm.
Required on-call responsibilities for off hours will include weekends and holidays with a 30-minute response time.

As a Charge Nurse/Care Team Leader, you'll be more than a nurse-you'll be a front-line clinical leader supporting complex cardiovascular procedures, guiding daily operations, and mentoring a highly skilled team.
Preferred candidates must have a minimum of two years of cardiac cath lab nursing experience and a passion for advancing patient care through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Care Team Lead/Charge Nurse to:
* Be an integral leader within a high-performing, multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization team delivering exceptional care to patients ranging from young adult to geriatric undergoing complex cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
* Provide expert clinical care for acutely ill patients while serving as a trusted clinical resource and role model for staff in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
* Lead daily operations as charge nurse, supporting patient flow, staffing, and care coordination while promoting a culture of patient- and family-centered care.
* Collaborate with leadership on hiring, patient experience initiatives, shared governance activities, and quality improvement efforts that drive practice excellence and innovation.
* Advance nursing practice by integrating evidence-based care, supporting education and skill development, and participating in research and clinical advancements shaping the future of cardiology care.
* Work with cutting-edge technologies and therapies, including structural heart interventions, TAVR, MitraClip, ablations and minimally invasive procedures in a nationally recognized cath lab program.
* Preferred candidates will have inpatient ICU-level nursing experience and 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience.
