Electronics Design Engineer

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $52,000 - $78,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About the Role:

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Electronics Design Engineer in our Costa Mesa, CA location.

You will be part of a VIP Excellence Support team of initiative-taking employees, responsible for three phase UPS Product evolution activities and provide technical expertise support/solutions for our North American VIP customers.

What do you get to do in this position?


* Analyze returned defective products/parts to identify root cause and create TEX (Technical Expert Assessment) report for customer and complete the Engineering activities as required


* Perform critical field issue investigation (by Parts return/Remote/On-site support) and technical support for North American cases and cover all three-phases UPS offers


* Serve as a single point escalation path for Level four (Design Level) technical support and provide technical solutions for our customers to strengthen their confidence on our product and gain more trust


* Work with global engineering teams to collaborate and continuously improve hardware and firmware levels of performance of Schneider Electric 3 Phase UPS offers and provide the professional advice


* Actively work with other cross-functional teams (CS&Q /Marketing/Service/Product development team/L3 expert team/Local regions front office team etc) to continuously improve products quality and share the engineering support
