Evaluation Services - Engineer-in-Training

Intertek is searching for a Engineer-in-Training to join our Evaluation Services team in our Mississauga, ON office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the Code Compliance field! The Engineer-in-Training is responsible for managing certification projects.

What you’ll do:


* Conduct comprehensive research on North American building codes and applicable product standards.


* Develop detailed test plans and evaluation protocols based on research findings


* Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.


* Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.


* Collaborate closely with sales, laboratory, and technical teams to support seamless project execution.


* Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.


* Participate actively in industry committees, standards development activities, and technical association meetings.

What it takes to be in this role:


* Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (preferably Materials or Civil Engineering)


* Valid driver’s license


* Be able to travel within Canada and USA
