Job responsibilities


* Lead and coordinate the month-end close process for client profitability


* Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reconciliations and reporting


* Prepare, review, and present monthly financial results and variance analysis


* Present key performance indicators and profitability trends to senior management


* Develop and deliver analytics to support business decisions


* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement


* Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy


* Demonstrate robust risk management and adherence to policies


* Foster a culture of accountability across the team


* Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and senior leadership


* Champion collaboration and teamwork across global teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field


* 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business finance


* Advanced understanding of month-end close processes, financial controls, and profitability analysis


* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy


* Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems


* Technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization


* Proven record of process improvements


* Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* MBA or CPA


* Experience in a large financial institution
