As a Data Scientist at AutoZone, you'll be the analytical powerhouse behind our business solutions.

* Partner with senior data scientists and leadership to understand business needs.



* Research and design innovative statistical models for data analysis.



* Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across the organization.



* Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies.



* Develop predictive models to improve customer experience and revenue generation.



* Build and maintain A/B testing frameworks and monitor model performance.



* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and track outcomes.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For



* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field ( Master's preferred).



* 5-7 years of experience in statistical analysis and data modeling.



* Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and programming languages such as R or Python.



* Strong knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., regression, cluster analysis , time series modeling).



* Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, actionable way.



* A collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving.

* Advanced experience in predictive modeling and pattern recognition.



* Expertise in developing custom algorithms and data models.



* Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and model quality assessment.



* A track record of leveraging data to drive measurable business outcomes.
