Materials Cycle Counter
Summary
The Cycle Counter plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
This position is responsible for performing regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity in the inventory management system.
The Cycle Counter collaborates closely with the Materials, Production, and Quality teams to support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Duties
* Inventory expert, working with ERP systems to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and monitor inventory accuracy.
* Maintain minimum inventory levels and monitor for accuracy regularly with cycle counts.
* Communicate current inventory with Material Scheduler.
* Work as a team with Manufacturing to locate and cycle count product.
* Check and update inventory databases with current data.
* Verify receipt data entry from Receivers and monitor FIFO of raw materials throughout the plant.
* CMS database - Troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, understanding transactions in inventory database and root cause analysis.
* Keep up to date with system changes and training requirements related to job duties.
Requirements
* High School Diploma and 2 years manufacturing/inventory experience.
* Excellent organizational and time management.
* Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize activities.
* Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
* Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required.
* Troubleshooting ability is required.
* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated good internal customer service skills.
* Detail oriented.
* Good computer skills.
