Location: Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Rotating Weekend Days
Employment Type: Per Diem
Hourly Rate: $67/hr flat rate

Your Day-to-Day:



* Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with a wide range of conditions


* Deliver engaging, results-focused therapy sessions


* Educate patients and their families to promote continued success at home


* Partner with nurses, doctors, and fellow therapists to ensure holistic care


* Document progress and celebrate patient milestones

What You’ll Need to Succeed:



* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program


* Experience: Hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred


* License: New York State PT license (or eligibility with a temporary permit)


* Qualities: Compassion, motivation, teamwork, and a heart for helping others thrive

Physical Requirements:



* Ability to be on your feet most of the day


* Some lifting and maneuvering of equipment or patients (up to 50 lbs)


* Occasional exposure to clinical environment elements (e.g., noise, odors)
