Endoscopy Suite Sterile Specialist

Location: Endoscopy Suite at 87th Ave (700 NE 87th Ave - Vancouver, WA 98664)

Hiring Range: generally between $20.05-$24.05 per hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience.

Full-Time Schedule: four, 10 hour days Monday through Friday (day off TBD) Must have excellent attendance! Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care.

We require our employees to adhere to our attendance standards, as frequent deviations make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers.

In this role you will reprocess, sterilize, and maintain endoscopy scopes.

You will follow recommended and mandated procedures to ensure the safety and sterility of the scopes.

Certification not required, experience preferred.

Endoscopy Scope Care:


* Cleans and sterilizes endoscopy scopes according to Clinic procedure.


* Maintains scopes equipment in good working order.


* Monitors scopes for quality and seeks repair or replacement if needed.


* Maintains current knowledge of disinfection/sterilization technique through continuing education and professional equipment.


* Performs quality control procedures on a routine basis and documents according to established procedures.

Requirements


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Detailed and procedure oriented required


* Ability to work independently and adhere to specific guidelines


* Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center or central sterile services, preferred


* Certificate of completion from a formal central sterile processing technology course, preferred


* National certification, preferred

Pay Range:
$19.70 - $27.58
