Finance & Business Management - Senior Associate
Join the Digital Finance & Business Management team for a dynamic role acting as the trusted advisor to our Digital Portfolio, supporting financial control, forecasting and budgeting, strategic analysis, senior management reporting, and assisting with process improvements and automation.
As a Senior Associate in the Digital Finance and Business Management team, you will support optimizing planned spend, act as a trusted advisor to our Digital Portfolio, and be responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating financial risks.
You will also provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight and coordination of budgeting and forecasting, financial control, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of regular management reporting, and development of new reporting capabilities.
In this role, you will advise the line of business Chief Financial Officers and Digital Portfolio teams (Head of Product and Head of Technology) on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.
Job responsibilities
* Prepare financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis.
* Provide efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy including, but not limited to location strategy, span of control, reporting and analytics.
* Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
* Provide oversight and deliver month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
* Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and present commentary to FP&A managers and line of business CFOs explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.
* Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management.
* Enhance controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible.
* Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
* Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls.
* Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
* Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
* 4+ years of work experience in Finance, Planning & Analysis, Business Management, Accounting/Controller, Technology or Product background
* Experience with strategy, creation of business cases, process improvement and automation
* Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build decks, present data and tell a story
