Mine Heavy Diesel Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Mine Heavy Diesel Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.

In this role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair mobile mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
You will work on a variety of equipment-including haul trucks, loaders, graders, light-duty vehicles, and support machinery.
* Technical or trade certification preferred.
* Strong mechanical background on Caterpillar & Komatsu Equipment.
Certification in Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Automotive Service, or related field is an asset, especially in mining environments.
* 2-5 years of heavy diesel maintenance experience (mine site experience is a plus).
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and basic welding/fabrication.
* Physical ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
* Work is performed in shop garages and mine areas exposed to adverse weather conditions.
* Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repair work on fleet of CAT 793C and 793F Haul trucks and support equipment including graders, dozers, and heavy-duty and light-duty mobile equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
* Maintain and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, cooling systems, suspension, steering, and related components.
* Follow all mine safety protocols and environmental regulations.
* Conduct pre-work inspections and ensure equipment meets safety requirements before returning it to service.
* Identify hazardous conditions and report or correct them promptly.
* Use diagnostic tools, software, and equipment fault-code data to troubleshoot issues.
* Interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Safely use and maintain tools, lifting devices, diagnostic instruments, and equipment.
* Work closely with operators and maintenance team members.
* Provide mechanical support during equipment breakdowns in the field.
