NHC HealthCare Garden City is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Admissions Nurse.

This is an exciting full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters our care.

Position Summary:


* As the Admissions Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for new patients entering our facility.

Your primary responsibilities include:


* Completing pre-admission screenings and providing a thorough medical assessment


* Collecting and documenting each patient's medical history


* Ensuring all required forms, insurance information, and paperwork are complete and accurate


* Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support a smooth and efficient admission process


* Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


* Current RN or LPN license


* Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills


* Compassionate, patient-focused approach


* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
