Assistant- R & D

Primary Responsibilities:


* Clean, sanitize, and store R&D equipment and lab areas, including:



* Lab kettles, small wares, utensils, microwaves, steam tables, floors, and mats (minimum weekly or as needed)

Maintain cleanliness of corporate office areas

Perform pickups and deliveries to/from Tipton Plant multiple times daily

Accurately receive and document incoming raw materials, samples, and finished goods

Assist with raw material inventory counts and organization

Properly label raw materials with approved/unapproved identification numbers

Support QA and evaluation set-up for raw materials and finished goods when needed

Maintain a clean and organized lab environment (floors, counters, benches, sinks, coolers, freezers, walls)

Communicate ingredient and supply needs for ordering

Restock lab benches with necessary supplies (spoons, containers, lids, etc.)

Provide support and coverage for teammates during absences or vacations

Wash, dry, fold, and store laundry (towels, smocks, chef coats, gloves, etc.)

Assist in receiving and documenting all incoming materials and samples
Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Prior experience in a quality assurance role is preferred


* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks


* Detail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational skills


* Ability to follow sanitation protocols and safety procedures


* Comfortable working in a food lab or production-support setting


* Valid driver's license and ability to travel between nearby facilities (if required)
