What You'll Bring

Required:


* Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related discipline (Master’s a plus).


* GPA of 3.0 or higher or equivalent experience.


* 2+ years of relevant experience.


* Willingness to perform field work (standing/walking full days).


* Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.


* Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.


* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.


* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.


* Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.


* This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred:


* 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.


* GIT or EIT certification.


* Experience with technical data recording and report writing.


* Local candidates preferred; regional candidates considered.

Key Responsibilities


* Conduct field investigations: soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling.


* Oversee drilling, soil logging, and installation of monitoring wells.


* Perform aquifer testing, well development, and remedial system operations.


* Assist with groundwater and wastewater system performance monitoring.


* Support Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transactions.


* Compile and analyze data; assist in preparing technical reports.


* Prepare compliance work plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, stormwater, and wastewater.


* Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.


* Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activities.
