Pay £13.98 per hour (£27,338 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Temporary (9 months contract), full time (37.5 hpw), 2 admin days in service and 22.5 hours a week on rota.

Join us in this great and rewarding job, as our Positive Behavioural Support team Leader.

You’ll manage our team to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer (S) and help them reach their full potential. 

S has complex needs including a moderate learning disability, autism, Non-Verbal, some sensory processing challenges.

They are early 20s and are outgoing, cheeky and enjoys being outside in the garden.

S has some sensory processing difficulties, and likes to touch items, moving them between their hands to meet the needs, firm favourites are socks, sand and bubbles.

What you’ll do


* You’ll manage a team of PBS Support Workers centred around a customer with complex presentation.


* You and your team will support customers with any aspect of their day-to-day living.

You’ll work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life


* You’ll be in regular contact with your manager updating, escalating and reporting on all aspects of the service delivery.


* You’ll be responsible for planning and overseeing complex support working with customers who display behaviours of concern and may require personal care working alongside Home Group’s local multi-disciplinary team


* Motivating, directing, guiding, coaching and supporting your team to work with our customers.

You have


* Experience in CQC Regulated services, a Level 4 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent or prepared to work towards it.


* Worked as a Senior Support Worker, leading support for people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.


* A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us.


* Great people management and motivation skills, bringing colleagues together to share information, best practice and fostering creativity.


* Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.


* To help S get out and about, you’ll need to be able to drive a vehicle insured for business purposes.
