Business Analyst

Overview
Amazing Charts is hiring a Business Analyst to support the leadership team with data gathering, reporting, and variance analysis on financial & nonfinancial metrics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate & timely data that is relevant to making business decisions, as well as, tracking & measuring the goals of the business units.

Responsibilities


* Develop and maintain vendor to customer invoicing audits, ensuring customer and vendor billing accuracy.


* Perform variance analysis and assist leadership with forecasting.


* Develop and maintain profitability analysis reports.


* Work with Sales & Marketing teams on cost analysis and performance metrics.


* Gather data and assist with price increase analysis.


* Provide insightful and analytical recommendations and commentary to assist the decision making of the leadership team.


* Build & improve financial reporting models & reports.


* Ad Hoc analysis as needed.


* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements


* University or college degree in Accounting/Finance, or Business.


* 1-3 years of progressive experience working with financial analysis.


* Advanced working experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


* Effective communicator that has experience and is comfortable working with all levels of management.


* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.


* Solutions focused mindset with a desire to improve processes.

* Experience creating reports with Power BI.


* Experience with SQL.


* Understanding of GAAP principals and IFRS.
